It will take you to the login page, now type your credentials username and password as “admin” and Enter login. Now on the web page go for “Repeater”.

Make sure to select the SSID of your router from list.
Then, you will see 3 rows. The top name will be the current SSID of the AERIAL S-2 N300, the last name has the extender SSID of the AERIAL S2-n300 and the middle name is for the Wi-Fi password.

First connect the extender to the closest electrical wall, mid-way to the range of your router.

Then connect the Ethernet wired connection between WN578R2 repeater and computer, remember to turn ON your computer of laptop.
Once you done the launch web browser (Google chrome or Mozilla Firefox) and in the address bar type 192.168.10.1 or ap.setup.
Now you will see the login page, here type credentials username and password as “admin” and enter login and it will take you to next page, confirm to select “repeater” mode.

Make sure to select SSID of your router from the list and enter its password.

Wavlink Aerial extender setup as Access Point Mode

Firstly plug in Wavlink WL-WN578R2 to the closest electrical wall and mid-way the range of router.
Then toogle the switch to “Acess point/Repeater/Router”.
Now insert your network cable into the “LAN” port on ext your router’s LAN port.

Note: You can place it on the lower side of the Wavlink Aerial repeater.

First, plug in Wavlink extender to the closest electrical wall.
Then remember to reposition the external Wi-Fi antennas.
Now, make sure to turn “ON” Wavlink aerial and hold on until the power LED light turns to solid green.
Remember to insert the ADSL Modem into the “WAN” port. (It is located on the right corner).

Then in setting menu click on “LOGIN PASSWORD”.
Now type your old password and new password in the credentials and click “Apply”.

How to Firmware upgrade your Wavlink AERIAL S2-N300 repeater

In case you have this question. Then the easiest way to Firmware upgrade and make your extender faster and secured. It can fix bugs on your devices. For smooth running device Firmware upgrade is recommended.
